Mad River Glen is a skier's mountain! It is 100% skier owned. And, lives up to its slogan "Ski It If You Can". If you're a diehard skier you must take on Mad River Glen. There are plenty of lodging facilities in the area, but overnighting on the mountain isn't one of them. There is no lodging on the mountain... just great skiing and skiers who worship the sport. Incidentally, Mad River Glen is the home of the only remaining single chair lift in the lower 48! The area is dotted with Full-Service Country Inns, B&B's, Lodges and Rental Homes. And, if you find "You Can't Ski It".. there is Sugarbush just down the road a piece. This is a great area for everything from a romantic weekend to fun outdoors with the kids. Enjoy!
