Image Map Brattleboro VT: Exit 1 off of I-91 it is a must-visit. A bustling village to say the least. Great shops! Plenty of lodging including the national chain motels. Be sure to travel Route 30 toward picturebook Newfane with its legendary inns. This area makes for a great day trips or weekend getaway! Bennington VT: Think History! A gateway to vermont, it offers a variety of inns and motels. Mount Snow & Wilmington Area: Think of Wilmington primarily during summer and fall. Those who love creaft shops should certainly visit. In winter, as like Mount Snow, the population here are skiers. Plenty of lodging establishments of every variety! Bellows Falls & Saxtons River is home to a number of historic inns. And, visiting the area is to step back in time! Stratton Mountain Vermont: Although it is thought of a a ski area, it is much more... including great golf! Lodging of every variety is here! You'll certainly want to visit Streatton Mountain Village high up on the mountain... it is like no other! The Manchester Area offers more choice of lodging than most of the remainder of Vermont combined! Spectacular Inns, Resort Motels, a Landmark Hotel, and more.  Manchester Village is pristine to say the least. Manchester Center is heaven for those who love nationally reknown factory outlets. This is a very pretty town located below the eastern slopes of the Green Mountains! If you like Gingerbread homes you'll love Chester. Plenty of great inns to choose from! Weston & Londonderry Area: Weston is home of the Vermont Country Store and famed Weston Playhouse. It's also home to the Weston Priory. Lodging is primarily full -service country inns, and several motels within a few short minutes of town. Springfield VT is just off of I-91. Lodging facilities include a large full-service inn and a major motel just off of the Interstate! Ludlow VT: Ludlow offers the best of both worlds... Summer & Winter. It is the home of Okemo Mountain Ski Area.. and, five beautiful lakes. Endless lodging establishments of every variety.. Inns, Hotels, Motels, Vacation Home Rentals and camping. The Rutland Area offers you a little bit of everything. Downtown it's a gem. Plenty of lodging here in including the national motel chains. Minutes away is Lake Bomoseen with plenty of waterfront lodging. Legendary Woostock & Quechee: You will not run out of things to do here... You'll want to browse downtown Woodstock, and certainly visit Quechee Gorge. Lodging offerings include everything from legendary inns to some great motels and nearby camping. The Killington Area: Here you have endless choices for lodging... from a Grand Hotel to inns every size and offering. If you are looking for views, golf or skiing.. this is the place. And, it is just about half-way between Rutland and Woodstock. The White River Junction Area has a number of national motel chains and is just a few minutes away from legendary Woodstock and Quechee Gorge! Along the Route 7 corridor, it is certainly worth a visit! Waitsfield & Warren Vermont are better known as The Mad River Valley... and for good reason. The area has everything.. spectacular scenery, skiing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, fishing... You name it and it is here. Great Lodging!!! Our state capitol! Make sure to visit the State House and Historical Society. This is the only state capitol without a McDonalds.. but there is plenty of lodging. Montpelier is also the home of the Culinary Institute. Enjoy! Burlington is a must-see! On the shore of Lake Champlain it is like no other. Great restaurants, shops and lodging establishments. This is one of America's great cities and voted as such year after year. Great hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts.. for every taste and pocketbook. Mt. Mansfield is Vermont's highest mountain. You can drive over it except during the winter months when the road is closed. This area is also the home of Stowe and the village of Stowe VT - a major year-round destination! The area has an endless source of great lodging! The Lake Champlain Islands are accessible by car. However some of the State  Parks on the islands are only accessible by boat. If you are a history buff this is a place with alot of it! If you want waterfront lodging this is the place. Truly The Great Outdoors! Spectacular lakes, abundant wildlife and where eagles fly. The home of towns untouched by time. Great scenic drives.. Lake Willoughby and Newport are not to be missed! Bordering Lake Champlain: Minutes from the Canadian Border and access to the Lake Champlain Islands. A favorite of boaters and campers.
