Vermont's 800 lakes and ponds, and countless rivers, make kayaking and
canoeing a major warm weather activity here in the Green Mountain State.
Kayaking has become especially popular as they are lightweight and easily
transportable. And, the state maintains approximately 180
Public Access Areas to our lakes and rivers for fishing and boat
launching, so you'll have no trouble finding a place to put your boat in the
water.
