right when exiting, If heading South on I-91 turn left when exiting. You

downtown Brattleboro. When leaving the main part of town and as you
approach a fork in the road, look for signs for Route 30.
Travel Route 30 toward Newfane
and Townshend. Note that when entering Townshend you must make a sharp
left in order to remain on Route 30 - now heading toward Jamaica and
Stratton Mountain.
Upon leaving Jamaica you will
start your climb into the mountains. Continue on Route 30 until you descend
into Bondville. As you descend you will see the Intersection of
Routes 30 & 100 North - Make a right turn on Route 100 North.
Travel Route 100 North to
Londonderry and the Intersection of Routes 100 & 11. Turn right on
Route 11 through the village of 1
Londonderry, and continue on to Chester. In Chester you will turn on to
Route 103 toward Rockingham & Bellows Falls. 2

1
Alternate Route:
In Londonderry make a left turn on Route 100 North [toward Weston].
Travel Route 100 North to Weston [Approx. 6 Miles]. This is the home
of the famed Vermont Country Store [Original Location], Weston
Playhouse, and Weston Priory [A Benedictine Monastery].
When you have finished visiting Weston travel a very short distance
North from the Weston Village Green to Andover Road [Opposite The
Weston Marketplace Village Store] and turn right on Andover Road and
continue on through Andover to Route 11. Make a left on Route 11
heading toward Chester. You have now returned to the original route.

before reaching I-89.
2
Alternate Route:
If, instead of entering I-91 and the end of this scenic drive, you
continue on Route 103 for five minutes or less, and visit Bellows
Falls, Vermont.
This
is a charming village, which resembles a Lionel Train Set of years long
gone by, is worth a visit. It is the home of the Green Mountain Flyer
scenic railroad and Sam's Army & Navy Store [not what you think of
as an Army & Navy store]. This is a legendary purveyor of sporting
goods.
You'll
also want to visit "Miss Bellows Falls" Diner - a working
Diner from long ago.
If
you happen to be in town on a Tuesday evening the movies cost $1.50 -
in a very comfortable wide-screen theatre in Town Hall - That's right,
Town Hall - on Main Street. Enjoy!
